For sale- a Sony PVM-1344Q Color Trinitron Super Fine Pitch Pro Video Monitor.
Fires right up and has a really nice picture
EXCEPT
that as you can see in the color bars the upper far right corner has some green where it should be blue.  I am going to assume that is from the set taking enough of a hit on that corner to damage the bezel as pictured.
I tried messing with the physical damage to the bezel and was pretty much getting nowhere.  I have seen people selling bezels for these things if that bothers you, and as you can see in the picture of the woman shopping for oranges whatever is going on with the picture disappears in a more diverse background.  It may only need to be degaussed and somewhere i have a degaussing coil so if i can get the two together and that takes care of it then the price will go up a bit.  If not you will receive it just as pictured.
Screenshots are from an unpaused laserdisc (if I hit pause the picture drops out on this player for some reason and I don’t have a remote for it) through the S-Video input.
Audio works as well, and I did briefly try a composite video into Line A Input and that worked too.
The monitor is NASA surplus and the color was adjusted so nicely I didn’t bother to change any of the settings..
Untested other than as pictured and described, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.

Other than the bezel damagee the case is in good physical condition but you should expect the usual scuffs and scratches and it does still have some sticker residue on the front control area, will see if I can clean that up a bit before it ships.
If you check back through my completed listings you will see that I have sold a number of older monitors recently, many of them for parts or repair.
So if I note a defect I pass that along and the price reflects it.
As far as I can tell this one is ready to start retro gaming tomorrow (other than that one corner, I will update the listing if I can cure the green).
