  • Condition: This monitor is in excellent working condition and very good physical condition. It has never been dropped or repaired and has been treated with the upmost care. It has never been used outdoors. It was used only on a tripod for shooting the views from our windows. There are some scuffs on the body and no scratches or scuffs on the display. My husband thinks the scuffs are because he sometimes stored it with a loose battery in the cloth bag. Since the screen hood folds up to protect the screen it is like new. Also, there are no defective pixels in the display. We live in a smoke-free and pet-free home; plus, we never had kids.

    My husband, who is a retired high-tech executive, purchased this monitor to augment his Sony Alpha 99’s view screen so that he could get good manual focus of views from our condo. He paid 0, not including tax or shipping (see photo of receipt). He received the monitor in 2013. He always buys the best products at the time even if he doesn't use them much, and this was no exception.
    He only used the monitor from indoors with it attached to the top of the camera. When not in use he would keep it in a drawer in his office. For his birthday this year, he wants to upgrade to the latest Sony Alpha 1 camera so he is selling his current gear (Please see "other items" if you're interested).
    The last photo in this auction is the email receipt from Sony after he bought the monitor (this shows that we are the original owners). The two photos before that are examples of this monitor being used with his Alpha 99. The camera is not included in the auction. Batteries are not included either.
