Sony BVM-14F5U Professional Video Monitor
For sale- a Sony BVM-14F5U Professional Video Monitor as pictured.
It has the System Control board installed, I would guess that is a fairly standard feature, plus what looks to be a composite video input board with six sets of in and outs.
In the Video Process slot it has what looks like a component video board marked Analog.
The other option slots are empty.
As you can see it powers up and I really cannot find any fault with the picture although I had a devil of a time trying to get a screen shot that didn’t include a dark band in it (something that you don’t actually see, just an interaction between the camera and the refresh rate of the monitor).
The one pictured was the best of about a hundred attempts.
The monitor is NASA surplus, I have to assume they had it dialed in pretty good but it has been sitting unused for a number of years now.
Untested other than as described and pictured, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.
HOWEVER, IF you pay the asking price and it has a problem that you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.

Given the size and weight of the item I have opted to let the ebay shipping calculator come up with the cost of shipping it based on a presumed weight of 65 pounds in a box 28x22x16.
This is not a box size that you can just waltz into a store and buy, and I may or may not have something suitable at the time of the sale.
Which would mean I would have to go out foraging for one, in which case it won’t ship until I find something that fits, please be patient.
And I would ask that you hold your packing tips, this is not my first time at the rodeo.
When things get to this end of the price spectrum I don’t take chances, it won’t ship until I am comfortable that it will get there undamaged.
If the item being sold here requires a standard modular computer style AC cord I no longer ship those automatically based on the assumption that most people probably have a box full of them at this point.
If you need an AC cord please mention it at the time of purchase.
