I didn't feel like removing the blue velcro, but everything is fine and in good shape under the blue velcro if wanted to remove it.

PLEASE NOTE and KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING
There's a small jumper cable required (small black cable) to jump from plate to camera and 1/2 of it was cut off and used for a different plate.
