The FW278S equips filmmakers with the benefits of a large on-camera display without making the camera set up feel cumbersome. FEELWORLD FW278S is packed with high end monitoring features in a small, lightweight package that can be connected to virtually any camera.
The front features a large high resolution, daylight viewable LCD, there are video connections on the bottom, and space for two NP-F batteries on the back. The outer frame features standard 1/4" mount points on the bottom, left, right and middle back for attaching it to cameras and rigs. This design detail makes the FW278S easy to attach to a camera and easy to share with a team member or client on set.
More Resolution, Less Reflection
The FW278S enables clear and precise field monitoring and image analysis during daytime shoots. It displays your stills and monitoring content at superior color fidelity and 1920 x 1200 maximum resolution on a 7-inch display. The panel is made of optically bonded glass with an anti-reflective coating, which allows comfortable daytime field monitoring.
But what really sets it apart is its light-emitting diode (LED) backlighting, which outputs a brightness of 1200 nits and displays a 1200:1 contrast ratio and sRGB / Rec.709 Color Gamut, resulting in exceptional screen clarity even in intense lighting conditions. With the monitor displaying your content at 323 pixels per inch (PPI), you can shoot in broad daylight with confidence and refine your content on the spot. The wide 160 Degree viewing angle makes it easy for multiple members of the crew to watch it at the same time.

Shooting in extremely bright conditions can be a challenge. Some photographers would avoid full sun and wait it out until the sun provides the right lighting. But with the FW278S, you can continue shooting during the golden hour with full control of your output. Unlike conventional monitors, the FW278S offers exceptional daytime viewing without the need for a sun hood. There are two cutting-edge technologies that make this possible. One is the LED backlighting that generates 1200 nits of brightness and the other is the anti-glare LCD screen with a 1200:1 contrast ratio. The monitor lets you determine the proper settings to use and record the most color information possible, you'll always end up with crisp and vivid results.
Light Sensor for Auto Dimming
And FW278S has an ambient light sensor that detects ambient light levels and automatically adjusts the screen brightness. It ensures that the screen is readable in different environments and always protects your eye. Increasing the screen brightness compensates for bright sunlight when used outdoors, while a dimmer screen is more comfortable on the eyes when viewing in the dark.

Intuitive Controls and Menus

Connect to Professional Cameras, Camcorders and DSLR's
With both 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI inputs you can connect it to any consumer camera, broadcast camera or even DSLR cameras. You also get loop thru outputs, so you can display live video or expand display on external screens or projectors with embedded audio. You can also monitor audio using the 3.5mm stereo headphone jack. For power, there's a 12V DC input and two NP-F battery slots.

Features
Brightness Histogram
The Brightness Histogram is a quantitative tool to check the picture brightness.The feature shows the distribution of brightness in an image as graph of brightness along the horizontal axis (Left:Dark, Right:Bright)and a stack of the number of pixels at each level of brightness along the vertical axis.
Embedded Audio Monitoring
The Audio Level Meters provide numerical indicators and headroom levels. It can generate accurate audio level displays to prevent errors during monitoring. The audio meter is green, and will turn yellow when exceeds -20dB, and turn red when exceeds -9dB.
Peaking Focus Assist
The Peaking Filter is used to aid the camera operator in obtaining the sharpest possible picture. When activated, the internal processor will display a colored highlight on the screen where sharp edges appear. You can switch the putline color between red, green, blue according to different tone of the subject.
False Color
The False Color filter is used to aid in the setting of camera exposure. As the camera Iris is adjusted, elements of the image will change color based on the luminance or brightness values. This enables proper exposure to be achieved without the use of costly, complicated external test equipment.
Exposure (zebras)
The Exposure is used to assist in exposure adjustment in the mode of Zebra Pattern. It is considered overexposed and displays the moving warning lines onto the over exposed areas. 1-100IRE adjustable.
Check Field
Check Field is an assistant function to adjust camera color settings. Under the check field mode, you can use red, green, blue or mono pixels to generate the image, because hue and saturation can be adjusted more quickly and accurately in this environment.
Zoom In (4x, 9x, 16x)
Image magnification is HD signal in any part, an amplification for high quality close-up.
Anamorphic Mode (1.3x, 2.0x, 2.0x mag, User)
You can choose 1.3x, 2.0x, 2.0x mag, User-defined adjustment: 1.20x-2.00x. Built-in selection of no squeeze, 1.3 x or 2.0 x allows you to use anamorphic lenses or adapters and see the image unsqueezed, even if your camera does not de-squeeze in camera. A 2.0 x mag mode, magnifies the center of your image so you can check the focus of your scaled image.

Returns

Returned or exchanged products must be in brand-new, mint condition. Items must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and the blank warranty cards. Memory cards and any other Blister Pack items are not returnable once opened. Any merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The manufacturer's labeled packaging must be enclosed within an additional shipping carton. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer's package.
Printers are not returnable once the Toner Cartridges have been installed or released.
Desktop Computers, Laptops, Tablets & Notebooks are not returnable once they have passwords or other software installed, have been registered with or returned to the manufacturer for any reason.
